We’re delighted to share that 25-year-old Singaporean guitarist Kevin Loh has won second prize at the renowned Guitar Foundation of America’s ‘International Concert Artist Competition’ in New York with a superb performance comprising Stephen Dodgson’s Fantasy Divisions alongside works by Frederick Hand, Giulio Rigondi and Allan Willcocks.
Loh is the first Singaporean to have taken part in the competition and says of the win, ‘It’s been a crazy ride getting to this point. If someone had told me what I was going to get second prize at what is arguably the No. 1 classical guitar competition in the world, I would not have believed him or her at all.’
